About me

About me

I contribute to the delivery of interpreting and translation modules that involve Mandarin.

My career in education has included working for schools, universities, and NGOs across China and the UK in roles that involve teaching, teacher training, and project management.

I have developed scholarship in the areas of technology-enhanced learning, intercultural business communication, and the teaching of Chinese as a Foreign Language. In addition, over the past two years I have become more closely involved in the design and delivery of modules concerned with translation technologies and audiovisual translation. The latter, as it relates to media in China, is becoming a focus for future scholarship activities.
