About me

Commonwealth sponsored Ph.D. Scholar at University of Stirling, carrying out research on Sustainability of Tilapia cage culture on Lake Victoria (focusing on Spatial and Ecological Modelling). Also, a staff of the Directorate of Fisheries Resources, Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, Uganda where she has served for the past 10years. Previously worked with the United Nations Water Decade Program on Capacity Development, United Nations University, Bonn, as a researcher. Professionally, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fisheries and aquaculture from Makerere University, and a Master’s in Integrated Water Resources Management from University of Dar-es-salaam. Accumulated working experience in policy development and implementation for Fisheries Management. Expertise in Laboratory Management, Quality Assurance and Food Safety in the Fisheries Sector. Practical experience in environmental monitoring, GIS, spatial modelling, and fisheries inspection & certification.
