Alice Piotrowska is a doctoral researcher at the University of Stirling, working in collaboration with Publishing Scotland and HarperCollins to examine the last five decades of the publishing industry in Scotland. Her project is fully funded by the University of Stirling, with contributions from the industry partners.
She previously graduated with an MSc in Publishing with Distinction from Edinburgh Napier University and a BA in English Language and Literature with Distinction (and a Certificate in Academic Writing) from Queen’s University (Canada). She volunteers for the Society of Young Publishers as Communications Officer, writes book reviews, and does freelance marketing design for publishing.
