The first students to complete courses at the University of Stirling’s United Arab Emirates (UAE) campus have celebrated their graduation.
The achievements of 35 students based in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) were recognised during an event on Saturday 10 December.
Graduates in BA (Honours) Accounting and Finance, BSc (Honours) Management, MSc Big Data and MSc Finance celebrated their awards alongside 100 guests, including friends, family and staff from both Stirling and RAK.
Professor Neville Wylie, Deputy Principal (International) at the University of Stirling, said: “Many congratulations to all of our Stirling RAK graduates on their achievements.
“We are proud of the success of our partnership with Planet One and delighted to see our first cohort of undergraduate students and the 2021/22 cohort postgraduate students celebrate their accomplishments.”
Stirling’s UAE campus opened to students in 2018 in partnership with Planet One, with the first cohort of 15 students starting their studies in September of the same year. There are now approximately 300 students studying at the RAK campus.
