NUDIST: A Qualitative Data Analysis System for Sport Psychology Research

Abstract
Following the recent and informative article by C6t6, Salmela, Baria, and Russell (1993) we would briefly like to inform researchers of a qualitative data analysis software system, developed in Australia, that we feel has immense potential for sport psychology researchers. Borne out of considerable experience, and frustration, with both cut-up-and-put-in-folders and file-card methods, we are currently applying NUDIST (Replee P/L, 1992) to several studies, including the effects of adventure-based experiences, physical activity programs for the elderly, and social support programs for injured athletes.
