Abstract
As a quick guide for clinicians, we provide a summary of our meta-analysis of child posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) risk factors, with clinical implications. We contextualise this discussion by first describing PTSD and leading cognitive theories put forward to explain and treat it.
