Abstract
The study discussed in this article sought to verify whether the managerial skills approach proposed by Katz (1955) can be adapted to understand the activities and skills of environmental managers. After some brief background discussion, we describe our research, which studied the skills required of environmental managers at three large companies in Brazil’s food sector.
