Abstract
First paragraph: Within less than a decade, the term nudge (and its correlative nudging) has become a sort of buzzword in the contemporary regulatory discourse. The concept of nudging is, in fact, older than this and it has been widely used in the field of psychology and later of behavioural economics, but it was first adapted for regulatory purposes by Thaler and Sunstein (Thaler & Sunstein, 2008).
