Abstract
First paragraph: Context Roehampton University Lifelong Physical Education invited Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) to experience the Royal Opera House Create and Dance Building Blocks continuing professional development (CPD) opportunity and together they the danced the day away. Dance is one of the areas that we find our students (and qualified teachers) are either passionate about or try to shy away from. Therefore, this year we trialled an additional CPD opportunity to enable both generalist primary education student teachers and those keener on physical education to attend. (We invited Roehampton geography specialists too.) We wanted to encourage our students to seek out CPD opportunities throughout their careers and develop positive habits from an early career stage.

Notes
Collaborative student competence and knowledge development and exchange with universities Roehampton and Canterbury Christ Church primary education students and the Royal Opera House- Dance.
