Abstract
Comments on the Note by Sheriff A. M. Cubie in the Application by the Diocese of Glasgow and Galloway of the Scottish Episcopal Church for the Disinterment of Cremated Remains at the former Holy Cross Church [2019] SC GLA 33 and discusses whether human cremains should be classified as 'sacred' or more properly regarded as a species of res religiosa if interred.
