Abstract
To complement the guest-edited special anniversary issue of the journal, this Commentary and Criticism section explores the futures of intergenerational feminist media studies, considering what these futures might look like, and what new approaches might be called for. Our starting point for the section came from the guest editors’ question of whether an effective intergenerational feminist media studies exists and how such a thing might be invented or extended (Winch, Littler, and Keller). The essays collected here consider this question through an exploration (and complication) of feminist waves that are tied to generation.
