Dr Cevdet Bulut

Dr Cevdet Bulut is a Lecturer in Project Management at Stirling Business School. He brings a combination of academic, industry and entrepreneurial experience across project management, data analytics, fintech and technology consulting.

Before joining academia, Cevdet spent over a decade working in data and analytics at KPMG Consulting and Bloomberg LP, gaining experience across technology, financial services and project delivery. He has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2013. Drawing on this industry experience, he later moved into entrepreneurship and founded an agri-tech venture developing AI-driven solutions for early risk monitoring and mitigation. He has gained experience in securing grant funding, building international consortia and leading collaborative projects from development through to delivery.

Cevdet completed his PhD in Management at Royal Holloway, University of London, where his research examined IoT adoption and business model innovation in agriculture. He also holds an MSc in E-Commerce and Internet Computing from the University of Hong Kong and a BSc in Information Systems from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).

His research interests include data and analytics, technology adoption, business models and innovation ecosystems. His research is particularly focused on understanding how organisations adopt and implement emerging technologies, and how research can be translated into practical applications and real-world impact.
