About me

Lawrence holds a BA (Hons) History 2018, MRes in Historical Research (2019), MSc International Conflict and Cooperation (2023) all undertaken at the University of Stirling. Their current PhD research, supervised by Dr Clemens Hoffmann and Dr Jennifer Dickie, focuses on the exploring the impact of hydrohegemonic practices on the metabolic systems of energy in North East Syria.

Lawrence's research interests range from resource based civil conflict, to transboundary hydropolitics and socio-ecological systems analysis.
