ODART : Responder Application Pilot study for the Brave app

Funded by Scottish Government.

Collaboration with Aberdeen City Alcohol & Drugs Partnership, Brave Technology Coop and Digital Health & Care Institute.

In October 2020, the DRNS secured funding from the Scottish Government’s Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Programme and ODART was launched in February 2021. The aim of the ODART Project is to transform preventative care for those most at risk of DRD. One workstream within this is “Overdose first responder applications”. We conducted a scoping review and gap analysis which has identified the available technologies and applications and needs in Scotland. The results suggest that the Brave app can be implemented for use in Scotland. This project aims to evaluate Brave application pilot in Aberdeen City.
