Evaluation of dementia friendly walking activities in care homes

Evaluation of dementia friendly walking activities in care homes This small scale project, evaluated the implementation of dementia friendly walking activities within three care homes. The project will use focus groups with residents and care professionals alongside quantitative activity data regarding participation in walking activities. Focus groups will ascertain factors influencing the implementation of dementia friendly walking activities. Individual interviews took place with 11 care staff working within care homes in Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership in late 2019-early 2020. A report was produced to report findings to Paths for All.
