About me

About me

I am an ecologist, studying the extent to which different tree species are able to recover in logged rain forests. My current research is based at the Danum Valley rain forest in Sabah, Malaysia. In the past I have conducted research in the forests of Indonesia and Dominica, where I recorded the effects of non-timber subsistence harvesting on epiphytes and the effects of Hurricane Maria on bird habitat structure respectively.
