About me
I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Stirling, where I work on the Global Histories of HIV/AIDS Campaigning in South Africa project, examining the relationship between health activism and transnational advocacy. I hold a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Hull. My research critically explores questions of gender and development through an intersectional lens, focusing on the lived experiences of Black women in the Global South. My work lies at the intersection of feminist scholarship, public health, and social justice, with a particular focus on structural inequality, marginalisation, and resistance. Previously, I examined the impacts of stigma and the criminalisation of sex work on the health and wellbeing of sex workers in South Africa.
