About me

Ahmed Saeed holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK (2016), where he advanced research in secure and efficient computing architectures. Earlier, he earned his M.Sc. in Microelectronics and System-on-Chip Engineering from Lancaster University, UK (2008), and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (2006).

His expertise spans security-aware communication in multi-core systems, Network-on-Chip (NoC) architectures, operating systems, and embedded systems, with a strong focus on FPGA-based design, hardware description languages (HDL), and low-level programming (C/C++). He also explores compile-time code instrumentation, computer organization/architecture, and machine learning applications in hardware systems.

Dr. Saeed’s work bridges hardware and software, aiming to optimize performance, security, and scalability in next-generation computing platforms.
