I qualified with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 1991 at the Royal London Hospital, and what is now University of East London. I returned to my home in Jersey, Channel Islands and set up and ran a Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy service for over 30 years. I completed my Masters in Health Research mostly online through the University of Stirling in 2019, and much to my amazement was awarded funding for my PhD (part time) in the ESRC/ SGSSS Open Student competition in 2020. I am married with 2 adult children. I love bassoon playing and sea swimming!
