A new Commercial Services Directorate is to be established which will include Commercial Services, Stirling Management Centre and the provision of University catering.
We are pleased to announce that Liam Spillane will be joining the University in early November in a new role as Director of Commercial Services. Liam has over twenty years’ experience in corporate hotels in both national and international roles across the Hilton Hotels Corporation and Intercontinental Hotel Group.
A graduate of the University of Ulster, he has not only worked in many of the Hilton Hotels in Scotland and Ireland, but was also involved in a major development of one of the largest hotels in Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt.
Previously he has served as a trustee of a charitable trust board and a director on the board of Lanarkshire Chamber of Commerce. Liam is married to Jacqueline and they have two children.
