Nursing and midwifery students to graduate in Inverness

The graduation ceremony for students from the University of Stirling’s Highland and Western Isles Campuses, will take place in St Andrew’s Cathedral in Inverness, on Friday 2 November at 12 noon.

More than 150 students will graduate during the ceremony, mainly from the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health.

Dr Winifred Ewing will receive the award of Doctor of the University in recognition of her outstanding contribution to politics and her role as a model for women in public life. Dr Ewing’s Honorary Degree will be conferred in absentia.

The graduation ceremony in the Cathedral will be followed by a reception in the Centre for Health Science, Old Perth Road, Inverness.
