Louise is currently working as a Health Visitor having graduated with a PG Dip Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting).

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the University of Stirling. Online classes included masterclasses delivered by relevant guest speakers on key topics such as perinatal mental health and infant feeding - both highly relevant to my role as a Health Visitor. Many sessions were interactive, encouraging discussion, break out rooms and brainstorming. This greatly enhanced my leaning experience.

The on-campus days were particularly valuable for networking and collaboration with classmates. One memorable session involved role-playing the chairing of a meeting, which provided practical, hands-on experience and excellent preparation for future scenarios.

I found the teaching staff to be consistently supportive. Lecturers responded promptly to emails and offered one to one meetings prior to exams, if requested, which was helpful for guidance and support. You get provided with a buddy as well, who is there for any support required throughout the academic year.

Overall, the course has equipped me very well for my current role as a Health Visitor.
