Abstract
Leadership in Scotland's social services is important. It is important because it makes a difference to outcomes for people who use services and carers as well as impacting on the morale and wellbeing of people working in social services. But what do we mean by leadership? Do we have a shared understanding of what good leadership looks like and how to nurture people's capacity for leadership in different roles, at different levels and across all sectors in social services?
