Welcome to our kindergarten, where we care for children including those of staff and students at the University.
Quality childcare and early education in Stirling
Our kindergarten offers quality childcare and early education for children from 2 years 9 months up to 5 years of age.
We are situated within the University of Stirling campus and are close to major commuter routes, providing easy access to public transport and motorways. We have a large car park for parents to use when dropping off and picking up children.
We are open Monday to Friday, 9am-3pm, and are open for 38 weeks of the year in line with Stirling Council term dates.
Unique childcare facility
We are unique in the UK because our kindergarten is supported by the University of Stirling Psychology division to give staff and students the opportunity to work with the children on different activities and exercises that will support research. Parents can opt out of any research as well as children having the autonomy to choose not to take part during a research activity.
Established and respected childcare provider
Our kindergarten has been an established and respected childcare provider for many years and has developed a strong reputation for delivering high quality and meeting the needs of our individual children and their families.
We have been graded ‘excellent’ by the Care Inspectorate for our quality of care and support. Read our last inspection report.
We have been working in partnership with Stirling Council since 2019 and offer funded sessions for up to 30 hours per week. Find out more about our partnership with the Council and funded places.
