Graduation tickets
Information about guest and graduand tickets for graduation ceremonies.
Students who register to attend graduation will be entitled to one ticket to the ceremony and garden reception for themselves plus two free guest tickets.
When you complete your registration for graduation, it is important that you tell us the number of guest tickets you require – zero, one or two. Please choose the correct number when you register, as you will not be able to change this after the deadline has passed.
Children aged two or over are required to have a ticket. Please note the 90-minute ceremony may not be suitable for children under school age and we advise that you make alternative arrangements for small children. However, we understand that this is not always possible. If you have a guest under school age, your party may be asked to sit at the end of an aisle or near an exit so that the child can be taken outside should they become restless. We would appreciate your co-operation in this matter.
Additional guest tickets
We will not know if there are any extra spaces until after the registration process has closed for your graduation ceremony.
If additional tickets are available, we will let you know how to buy them by sending information to your University email account. If additional tickets are available, they will be sold online on a first-come, first-served basis.
As we cannot guarantee the supply of additional tickets, we advise that you do not make travel or accommodation arrangements for your guests until such time as you have purchased guest tickets for them.
Extra guest tickets will cost £25 per person.

If, for any reason, you are no longer attending your forthcoming graduation ceremony then please send notification via email to certificates@stir.ac.uk.
