The University of Stirling has retained its five-star rating in the internationally recognised QS Stars rating system, following an independent evaluation of its performance.

A university with five stars is considered ‘excellent’ in the QS Stars ratings, and is celebrated for its strong international reputation, highly qualified and diverse staff base, and cutting-edge facilities, which support major research projects of national and global importance. Furthermore, students who graduate from five-star institutions are typically highly sought after by employers.

In the latest review period, the University was awarded five stars overall – as well as on an individual basis for its teaching, employability, internationalisation, research, facilities, programme strength and environmental impact.
