MSc Behavioural Science

Completing the MSc in Behavioural Science completely transformed my career and enabled me to move into a field which I am totally passionate about and to work for an organisation that I really care about. While I recognise that it can be difficult to find employment after postgraduate study, I believe that the training we received during the MSc was of such high-quality that it will remain a long-standing asset to myself and my class throughout our careers.

What first attracted you to choose the University of Stirling to study your course?

The opportunity for funding and the excellent reputations of the course director and teaching staff.

What are the benefits you found as a result of studying at Stirling?

I had an excellent experience and made wonderful international friends while studying at Stirling. After completing the MSc, I was lucky enough to secure a job in London in my field. I was also able to start a PhD in Behavioural Science at UCL. I believe that both of these career opportunities are a direct result of having undertaken the MSc in Behavioural Science at Stirling.

What specific feature(s) did you like most about the course?

The course content was extremely practical - I now use the material in my day-to-day work. The teaching and delivery of the modules were also excellent.

What advice would you give to prospective students considering coming to Stirling?

Apply for the funding opportunities early. Give the course 100% -  because you get back what you put in. And enjoy the social life that goes along with being a Masters’ student!

Are you currently employed? If so, please tell us what impact do you think your studies will have on your future career?

Yes, I am employed.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I am incredibly grateful to all those who make the Postgraduate Management School Scholarships available. Without this support I would not have been able to study at Stirling and I firmly believe that I would not be in the very privileged career position that I am in now.
