I changed degree from English after my first year as I was attracted to the employability and course content of the BAcc Accountancy course. I liked that many of the Management School’s courses allowed exemptions from professional qualifications and also allowed me to study many different business subjects over the duration of my degree.
One of the benefits of studying at Stirling is the great student diversity, I have been able to make friends with people from all over the world!
I liked having the flexibility to study subjects outside of my main degree discipline such as business law and management. I also enjoyed the ability to choose between advanced financial modules later in my degree, as I could follow my personal interests and strengths.
As a student of the University of Stirling there are four years of hard work ahead but also the chance to make life-long friends and build on skills, inside and outside of class!
I think the skills I have learned over the course of my degree will help me immeasurably. I have already grown as a person since I started University, and I am excited to see where I go next.
