What are the benefits you found as a result of studying at Stirling?

The MSc TESOL really underpinned my independent self-study skill. I have gained more confidence in teaching and lesson planning. I also have learned a lot about academic writing, presentation, and research methodology. ’ve met many new faces during my time here in Stirling, so I’ve learned so many things from people all around the world, for examples, new languages and cultures. Studying has also increased my life skills as I am more independent and become a better person.

What specific feature(s) did you like most about the course?

The greatest thing of studying MSc TESOL at Stirling is that there is a unique placement opportunity for students. I was placed in a college in the city assisting a teacher in an English classroom. There is also an international placement opportunity which I've got a place on and I'm going to be teaching English in a university in Hungary. These opportunities are very unique.
