“Sport was always a passion of mine when I was young and a strong emphasis was placed on the importance of nutrition when I was growing up so I chose a study route which allowed me to combine these two areas. My degree at Stirling provided me with the flexibility to experience many aspects of sports science and then focus on nutrition in my final year.
“The lecturers were excellent, always keen to talk and discuss different ideas. It is clear they are passionate about their subjects and this came across in their personable approach. The current sports facilities are fantastic and I only wish they were there when I started my degree. Stirling creates an environment where you want to be involved in sport and perform to the best of your ability, it inspires you to train and compete.
