Choosing a university is a big decision and by attending an Applicant Day you can gain an invaluable insight into what we offer at Stirling. You have the opportunity to speak to student ambassadors about life as a Stirling student. You can also find out about what The Students Union has to offer – from clubs and sports teams to environmental projects.
If you've still got questions about your course, accommodation, fees or anything in between, Applicant Day is your golden opportunity to find out everything you need to know. To help you make the most of your day, here are five of our tips:
Join one of our campus tours and find out more about the facilities and services on offer.
Visit the showcase of your chosen degree subject(s). You will be able to speak to academic members of staff and find out more about your subject and what to expect from your course.
Ask about your module and degree flexibility. It may surprise you to know how many different choices and options you have if you study at Stirling. This makes us stand out from many other universities in Scotland and is one of the reasons why so many students choose to study at Stirling.
Find out about our Students’ Union and our many clubs and societies. This is a great way to make friends when you arrive at Stirling.
Finally, use your Applicant Day visit wisely. Gather as much information as you need to make an informed decision that Stirling is the right place for you.
