More than 170 single and combined courses to choose from

Honours degree courses in Scotland are for four years as they are in South Africa, but we offer course choices giving you the flexibility to put you in control of your education. You can try out new subjects, combine the ones that interest you or even change your mind about what you’d like to graduate in.

Some of our courses also offer advanced entry routes that enable students to gain exemption from Year 1 of study and go directly into Year 2 or sometimes 3.

Why Stirling?

Up to £20,000 of scholarships available

Eligible students from South Africa receive up to £20,000 (£5,000 per year) through our Undergraduate South Africa Scholarship (no separate application is required for this award).

You can also apply for our International Sports Scholarship Programme, which is one of the largest high-performance sports programmes in the UK.

My biggest push was representation and diversity. I want to see more people who look like me – and people who don't look like me. I hope to see more people I've never seen on television being represented.
