Your decision

Once you’ve received news on all your choices, you’ll need to decide where you want to study. There’s a lot to consider and we’re here to help.

If you apply through UCAS, once you receive your final decision from your chosen universities UCAS will set each applicant a deadline where you will need to choose your firm and insurance choice. Your deadline can be found on your UCAS track.

We understand the role parents and carers often play in helping you make your study decisions.

Applicant days

If you’ve received an offer from us, you’ll be invited to attend our Applicant Day. Discover everything the University of Stirling has to offer and see how we can help you reach your potential.

One of our top priorities throughout your life at Stirling, is helping you build the employable skills you need to shape your future. At our Applicant Day, you’ll be able to find out about our Student Support and Careers and Employability Services – there for you while you’re a student, providing valuable advice and support.

We have one of the most stunning campuses in the UK, with our very own loch and world-class sporting facilities. On the day you’ll be able to talk to our academic staff and current students about your chosen course, tour the campus and see all our facilities for yourself. You can also go to presentations on helpful topics such as student finance, accommodation and study abroad opportunities.

Can’t make an Applicant Day?

There are other opportunities to visit us and virtual events, where you can talk to current students and University staff, ask questions and gather further insight into student life.
