MSc in TQM and Business Excellence

'13/09/2003: I suddenly found myself on an aeroplane flying from Greece to Stirling to complete a Master's degree in TQM and Business Excellence. As always, my decisions just follow my instincts. I was worried about the place, the people, the culture, everything; it was the first time that I had spent such a long time abroad. From the first days however, I realised that my decision to come and study in Stirling University was perfect. The University has beautiful surroundings; the loch in the grounds is amazing. Every time I walk on campus I feel part of a natural landscape; it is really calming. The sports centre is also fantastic; I enjoyed playing basketball in the University's team, especially when we won the Scottish Cup.

Everyone on the University's staff is more than willing to help with all my enquiries. The academic level is very good and highly competitive. Courses are multi-national which has given me the opportunity to meet people from everywhere – this is really invaluable.

I believe that personal life and studies should be properly balanced – I am not the kind of person who only studies and Stirling has a lot of places to go out. Parties in the halls of residence are also unforgettable. It was a combination of all of these factors which made me take the following decision:

MSc in Entrepreneurial Studies

15/09/2004: I found myself back on the aeroplane to Stirling... I had the crazy idea of doing a second Master's. It was, again, one of the best decisions of my life. During these years I have made a network of friends from all over the world. These friendships are really a treasure to me. As President of the Greek Society, I am actively involved in organising events for Greek and International students. These two years have been the best and, for sure, the most productive years of my life. Who knows, maybe next year I will see the next postgraduate students arriving... just kidding.'
