Postgraduate fees
Please note this list provides guidance only and fee rates are subject to change. Part-time research students pay a pro-rata annual fee for six years for PhD; thereafter an annual enrolment-only fee. Annual tuition fees are due on the anniversary of the initial enrolment date.
You should expect to pay fees for every year you are in attendance and be aware fees are subject to revision and may increase annually. Students on programmes of study of more than one year should take this into account when applying.
If you choose to attend a graduation ceremony, there is a charge of £50 which includes tickets for you and two guests, souvenir programmes and entry to the graduation reception or garden party. There is no charge if you wish to graduate in absentia. View more information
From 2016/7 onwards, the fees for all Professional Doctorates and Taught Postgraduate Courses are to be held at level upon entry.
