After spending over two months as a visiting student in Stirling, I would highly recommend it as a place of study. The campus must be one of the most beautiful in the world.
Stirling seems to be an environment that creates community; there is a sense of having some connection to the people around you.
I have wanted to come to Scotland for a long time, and my home college recommended Stirling because our schools have a history of students studying abroad here. I was especially excited about Stirling’s location – it is within easy distance of both Glasgow and Edinburgh, as well as many other places, and yet one can live closer to nature here than in the city. This is an excellent campus for walking and hiking. It is also a great place to make friends with other international students, both from your own country and from others.
Overall, my experience in Stirling has been challenging, fun, and beneficial on many levels, and will probably remain one of the greatest highlights of my educational career.
