What happens next?

Application stage

After you have submitted your application to the University, the Admissions Office will process the application and send it out to the relevant academic schools for approval of your module (course) choices. This process can take up to three weeks. Once the application is returned to our office, we will email you with an offer of admission listing the modules that you have been pre-approved to take.

Accepting your offer

We will send you an Acceptance Form with your Offer Letter that you must return to us. You must indicate on this Acceptance Form which three course modules you would like to be registered for (from those listed on your Offer Letter), plus one reserve choice, and we will register you for your chosen modules before the semester starts (subject to space availability). If there is no space available on one of your chosen modules, we will register you for your reserve choice.

Student Handbook for Study Abroad

Once you have returned your acceptance form we will email you our Student Handbook for Study Abroad. This contains information about how to apply online for university accommodation and lots of other useful items. The University prioritises accommodation for study abroad students who apply before the advertised deadline but on campus housing is not guaranteed. Our WelcomeStudent Handbook also contains all the information you need about university enrolment, links to your Study Abroad First Week Timetable and other relevant information for study abroad and exchange students. The latest information can also be found on the Study Abroad pages.
