Food growing, healthy cooking and sustainable food
Whether you want to learn new skills, grow your own food or want to buy organic food, this is the place for you. Be part of the community garden and orchard or participate in/or facilitate a workshop.
Reduce, reuse, fix and recycle
Whether you would like to avoid wasting energy, food or stuff, we’re here for you.
The Green + Blue Space is home to the Fair Share, a reuse shop where you can donate unwanted items and rummage for beautiful new things for your home or wardrobe. Come and have a look here before you buy something new! There’s also a recycling station where you can recycle everything from batteries to cartridges and CDs.
To help you fix your things we hold weekly clinics for clothes mending and regular creative and bike fixing workshops and we also offer tools and advice to help you save energy and water. Just come on in with your questions!
Finally, the Green + Blue space is a social hub where you can find new friends, learn about your environment and sustainable living and share skills with your fellow students. Come along and discover our Green + Blue World!
