Your learning and teaching experience

Courses starting in January 2021 will follow a blended learning approach in the first semester. This will be a combination of online learning and where we can, face-to-face teaching.

Don't worry if you're not able to arrive on campus immediately to start your course, as you can begin online at home. Please let the University know on the Student Portal after you complete the online enrolment process. Please contact your Faculty if you have any specific queries about teaching delivery on your course.

We will be closely monitoring Scottish Government Health and Safety guidance and will update offer holders of any change to the delivery of teaching plans.

How to defer your course

If you have an offer to start a course in January 2021 and would prefer to defer to a September 2021 start date and have not already contacted us requesting a deferral, you can send us an e-mail to admissions@stir.ac.uk. You can also do this on our applicant portal. Log onto the portal where you can request a change to your start date.

Live chat support for applicants and offer holders
