Just Play Sport

New temporary restrictions

Following the government announcement that Stirling will be placed in Level 4 restrictions, the student sport programmes have been suspended until further notice. Please keep an eye on our social media pages for regular updates. To keep active during this time, we have a variety of free online classes available throughout the week.

Just Play Sports are drop-in sessions designed for students who want to play sport and take part in fitness activities on a casual basis. It’s a great way to meet likeminded students, play sport in a casual environment and be active whilst at University.

All abilities are welcome and there is no commitment of joining a club.

In our temporary facilities, Just Play Sport will be FREE to access for all students.  Pre-bookings must be made to attend each session.

Following the latest government announcement on the 7 October, unfortunately Just Play Football has been cancelled from Saturday 10 October until Sunday 25 October. Just Play Badminton can still go ahead during this time so we hope to see you there.

Booking Policy

Just Play Sport bookings must be made in advance via the University of Stirling Sport app or website. You will not be granted access without a booking due to the need to comply with track and trace regulations.

Just Play Sport bookings can be made up to seven days in advance and up to 30 minutes before the session is due to start.

If you can no longer attend, please remember to cancel your booking no later than an hour before so we can give this space to someone else. Should a customer fail to attend their booked session or cancel with less than 1 hours' notice, three times, the customer’s ability to book online will be revoked for 1 week.

Waiting lists will be enabled, and correspondence will be sent out to all those on the waiting list should a space become available on a class that was previously full. The space can be taken on a first come first serve basis by anybody on the waiting list.
