Just Play Sport

Just Play Sport are drop-in sessions designed for students and staff who want to play sport on a casual basis.

All abilities are welcome and there is no commitment to joining a club.

How to get involved

It’s easy. Just turn-up, register at reception and you're good to go! 

All equipment is provided. Please bring comfortable clothing and trainers.


Just Play Sport sessions are only £2 

  • No membership is required
  • FREE to Sports Centre members and first year students
  • Book via Sports Centre Reception or online

    Football 4:00-5:00pm 3G Sand Pitch
  • Tuesday
    Badminton* 12:00-1:00pm Sports Hall

  • Wednesday
    Swimming (25m) 1:00-4:00pm Swimming pool
    Basketball * 5:00-6:00pm Sports Hall

    * Begins in week 2 (19 September), not available 21 November

  • Thursday
    Badminton * 6:00-7:00pm Sports Hall

     *Not available 20 Nov and 22 November.

  • Friday
    Football 6:00-7:00pm 3G Rubber Crumb Pitch
  • Sunday

    Weights Open Session

    (Female members only)*

    4:30-5:30pm S&C Performance Suite

    *Gain exclusive access to our Performance Suite equipment, where our female Fitness Officer will be on-hand to provide training advice.
