We’ve got a packed Welcome Week this year for new and returning students, with everything from lochside yoga to UV Raveminton! There’s something for everyone, so have a look at the activities below and get involved!
Lochside Yoga – 10am to 11am – Loch beside Haldane’s*
Start your day with Lochside Yoga. Join Eve from our fitness team for a complimentary Hatha Yoga session by the loch. What better way to begin your Sunday?
Outdoor Zumba – 1pm to 3pm – Outside student accommodation*
Try one of our most popular fitness classes in a different environment – on your doorstep!
Pop-up football – 2pm to 3.30pm – Grass area by Airthrey Medical Centre*
Enjoy a good old kick-about with our Get Active team! Come along and join us for a kick about outside accommodation. Great way to meet new students and get some exercise after the busy weekend! Book your place.
Freshers Freebie Fayre – 10am to 4pm – Lochside Marquee
Our team will be dishing out some freebies and providing information about our memberships and programmes. Hope to see you there and feel free to pop by and say hello!

We’ll be at the Clubs and Societies Fayre with loads of information about getting involved with sport, health and wellbeing at the University so hope to see you there!

Join us for some outdoor HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), Yoga and Pound sessions in a unique location on campus! Book your place.
Social Jogging Club – 5.30pm to 6.15pm – Willow Court
Join us for a friendly jog around our beautiful campus and make some new running buddies!
Sports Union Fayre - 10am to 4pm – Sports Hall

UV Sport and Fitness Fest / Raveminton – 6pm to 8pm – Sports Hall
Banging tunes, glowsticks and badminton – everything you need for an epic session of Raveminton! Book your place.
Functional Circuits – 5.30pm to 6.15pm – Sports Hall
Tackle those tough daily activities with ease by taking part in a fun and exciting mix of both cardiovascular and resistance challenges. Bring a friend and see what the craze is all about! Book your place.
Just Play Tartan Touch - 6pm to 7pm - 3G Rubber Crumb
New to rugby or a rugby fanatic? Come along and try Tartan Touch Rugby - a fun, simple and social version of non-contact rugby which everyone can play. Great way to meet new students and get some exercise after the busy week. Open to students of all abilities. Book your place.
Just Play Badminton – 6.30pm to 7.30pm – Sports Hall

Bringing fitness to you - join the party! Zumba is a great way to condition your body to some funky music and moves from around the world. Discover something new in your first week, or as a returning student!

Boxing Fit – 1pm to 1.30pm – Grass area in front of Beech Court*
Join us for an outdoor Boxing Fit session. This is a non-contact session, based on the techniques in boxing. Book your place.
