Your work experience and internship activities can also count towards your My Stirling Award.

Why should I do an internship?

If you’d like to gain real-life experience within your chosen field, an internship or work experience is the perfect place to start. Internships provide you with a major CV boost, invaluable networking opportunities and a chance to develop the transferable skills that employers want. It’s a great way to develop practical skills ahead of your future career, in a real workplace environment, while being supported by industry professionals.

My internship has given me a good taste of the 9-5 work routine. It has also given me a head start in my marketing career by providing me with lots of valuable experiences from very early on.
