There's a branch of Santander located in the Atrium on campus. It offers many services through the use of a multi-function digital unit instead of traditional counter service.
If you want to apply for or discuss, any of Santander's financial services they recommend you book an appointment.
The branch is closed on bank holidays.
The branch provides a multi-functional unit that allows account holders to access their online details, or create a new online account, and will provide the facility to print off their bank statements.
The branch has staff on-hand if you need any help using the new digital unit. You'll also be able to directly contact the Santander Customer Services helpline via the customer phone in the branch if you have any account queries.
If you want to open a new account or make amendments to an existing one, you can still request an appointment with the in-branch personal banker.
You will not be able to deposit coins into the branch, and there will be no facility to withdraw funds via a passbook. If you need to do either of these tasks, the nearest branch is located at 49-51 Port Street, Stirling.
Cash deposits are done via the ATM. The branch has a maximum deposit of £1,000 if all in £20 notes and £2,500 if all in £50 notes. These limits are for a single transaction. If you wish to deposit a higher amount you can do this via multiple transactions. However, we would recommend that you do not bring large sums of cash to the branch. It's safer to transfer funds. For more information on international transfer payments, go to the Santander website.
