Students with disabilities

We offer a range of purpose-built and fully accessible accommodation designed to suit students with a variety of requirements. Once you’ve made the decision to come to Stirling, we can work with you to assess your needs and ensure the room you’re allocated is a perfect fit.

Pre-entry visit

Once you’ve accepted an offer to study at the University of Stirling, you can arrange a pre-entry visit to help us assess the best way of supporting you during your time here. As part of this visit, we can discuss which accommodation is going to work best for you and reserve a place. To arrange your pre-entry visit please contact our Student Support Hub on +44 (0) 1786 466022 or by emailing ask@stir.ac.uk.

Facilities and support

We have a number of purpose-built rooms within our newer residences that include grab rails, wet rooms, hard-wired alarm systems, rise and fall kitchens and fire activation refuge areas. There are also a selection of converted rooms and flats in some of our older properties that can be further adapted as required.
