Address Careers and Employability Service
University of Stirling
After studying Law and Politics at the University of Keele, I spent a number of years travelling and living overseas before returning to work in a variety of educational institutions in the UK.
My primary role in the Careers and Employability Service is to oversee the operational management of the department and team, and ensure smooth day-to-day running of the service. I also work to support the Heads of Service in their capacity overseeing institution-wide Employability and engaging internal and external stakeholders.
Prior to joining the University of Stirling in 2017, I was a Careers Consultant at the Universities of Nottingham and Leicester, and before that worked in various law schools in London where I obtained my Postgraduate Diploma in Career Guidance from London South Bank University. My initial interest in education came working in Further Education colleges in Nottingham and I maintain a strong interest in widening participation. Other areas of interest include internationalisation, management information, and the use of technology in learning and teaching.
