Lauren graduated with a BA Hons in Human Resource Management from the University of Stirling in 2005. After working in the financial services industry for 3 years she joined the Careers and Employability Service in September 2008 as a Careers Assistant. Lauren studied the Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development at the University of the West of Scotland part-time over 2 years, completing it in 2011. She began her current role as a Careers and Employability Consultant in November 2012.
Previously Lauren has worked with the Stirling Management School, the Faculty of Health Sciences and Sport and the Faculty of Social Sciences. She is currently the Careers and Employability Consultant responsible for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Lauren actively supports clients in their career planning on a one-to-one basis and through a range of comprehensive careers education activities. Additionally, Lauren is the tutor for the International Summer School Internship module and a tutor for the Law Work Experience module which is delivered in partnership with colleagues from the Division of Law and Philosophy. She is a member of the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS) and a member of the AGCAS Law Advisers Group.
