This event is aimed at anyone interested in or undertaking realist synthesis or evaluation. Rowdy Yates will be speaking first on the aims of the writers' retreat and offering guidance on writing techniques. David Blane and Steve Rolfe will both be speaking about their use of realist approaches within their PhD projects:
‘A realist review of interventions targeted at primary care practitioners to improve adult weight management’ – Dr David Blane, University of Glasgow
‘Using Realist Evaluation to analyse the impacts of community participation’ – Steve Rolfe, University of Stirling
There will also be plenty of opportunity for everyone to discuss their own research.
