There are a minimum of 5 awards of up to £1000 available to support research travel in countries within the Santander Universities Network. Available to all current University of Stirling doctoral students.
Eligible activities include: PhD fieldwork and other relevant collaborative research work, student exchange visits and other specialist research training activities (this does not include conferences).

Over the years over £500 million has been donated as scholarships, travel grants, support to special projects, academic and non-academic awards. Santander Universities funds awards to outstanding students and projects. It is a global network, which exists to help provide students with the support they need to become tomorrow's leaders.
Funding is available to enable doctoral students to travel to countries within the Santander Network (Argentina, Brazil, Belgium, Chile, China, Colombia, Germany, Korea, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, Singapore, Spain, USA, UK, UAE and Uruguay). This includes research visits to Universities within the Santander Network. Travel must commence and be completed by the end of 2018.
Eligibility and availability
Minimum of 5 awards of up to £1000 each. Students may request less than £1000. Students are required to state how much they wish to apply for within the application form.
