Eligibility and availability

Every student from Vietnam studying for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate (taught or research) degree.

The University of Stirling wishes to offer this award in response to the many links between Vietnam and Scotland. We realize the high cost of studying in the UK and we wish to make a contribution and help students from Vietnam to be able to come and study at Stirling and add to our already diverse international community on campus.

How do I apply?

Students do not have to apply for this award. Each student who accepts an offer of admission will be provided with details of how to claim the award payment against the final installment of the relevant tuition fee.

The award is a waiver of the final £1000 of the overseas tuition fee paid by an individual student and is not a cash award. Should payment be made by instalment, the waiver will be a deduction from the final instalment. In cases where a student's tuition fee is paid directly from another source such as a funding body or other scholarship, this award can not be claimed.

If a student does not complete the postgraduate degree programme or relevant full year of an undergraduate programme of study, this award will not be applied.
