The Aviva Scholarship

Set up by Aviva in partnership with 11 universities, the Aviva Scholarship aims to support outstanding students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate education in the UK, and to experience life and culture in the place we call home.

The Aviva Scholarship is a partnership between the leading insurer Aviva and 11 UK universities, including the University of Stirling. The scholarship is available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and has been designed in order to promote British education across Asia.

The scholarship offers a 20% discount on tuition fees to all successful applicants, and is available to Aviva customers in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.

Eligibility criteria

  • You or your parents must be a customer of Aviva.
  • You must be a citizen of one of the following countries: China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam.

Deadlines

  • For undergraduate courses, you can apply for the Aviva Scholarship between 6 September 2017 and 15 February 2018 for admission as part of the September 2018 undergraduate intake.
  • For postgraduate courses, you can apply for the scholarship between 6 September 2017 and 31 July 2018.

How to apply

Scholarship applications should be made via the Aviva’s Digital Hub.

  • Applicants are required to provide a personal statement – of no more than 500 words – demonstrating through their ideas, experience and future career plans, why they should be awarded a place.
  • Applicants will also be considered based on the overall quality of their application and academic merit.
